We had four people in our stay over the recent weekend. There are so many great aspects to the stay, and that makes it very tough to list them all. To start I have to mention the complimentary apples. Every day, without fail, apples. Amd constantly the bowl was refilled. Then the amazing cleanliness of the rooms. Great beds, and towels.
But back to the apples. Grew up on an apple orchard. So this was one of the highlights.

Because I'm an Expedia VIP, the hotel has upgraded our room at no charge. What a great benefit!
The room was huge and has a full-equipped kitchen, mater bedroom and en-suite bath tub. Very clean and the lobby was also nicely decorated. Overall a very good experience at this hotel. Highly recommend for those visiting Victoria downtown. About 5 minute walk to bus stop. Close to Miniature World and 10 minute walk to Fairmont Empress hotel.

Elvie & Faith were very accommodating. They have a very warm and positive demeanour. We arrived very early from Tofino so we were trying our luck to check in early and indeed, Faith checked us in and even upgraded our room. Excellent customer service!!
We loved the location of the property as well. Very close to mall, dining, transpo, etc.
P.S. it would be better if there was complimentary water in the room 😅. But everything else was good!!

The setup of the suite was perfect for our family of 3 kids. Once the kids were in bed, we could enjoy the whole living area, backyard, kitchen and have access to the bathroom without worrying about waking them up.
The only issue is that the rooms were a bit hot.

The location of the property was very convenient. The flat was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. There is a restaurant/pub just on the corner of the alley and the music and patrons were quite loud during the evening hours, but everything quietened down by midnight. Great place to stay.

Excellent hotel. Just what we needed for a family weekend getaway. I hoped there were more parking options at the hotel than valet parking but we discovered the valet option was surprisingly affordable and convenient.

This is my second visit to the Union Club and I will be back! I love the character of the building and the traditions. No beachwear (short or flip flops). They have a nice gym, friendly staff and the breakfast is worth waking up for.
